December Pot Luck

Our guild currently has a total of 75 members.

37 members attended our annual Christmas Pot Luck social that started off our December guild meeting.

The name of our fall quilt show was chosen at our meeting. Thanks to Grace for coming up with the popular name for our next quilt show of: Piecemaking in the Valley.

Irene - My Quilting Journey

Irene led us through her "Quilting Journey" with a narrated trunk show at our December meeting.

Show and Share - December 16, 2009

Our December show and share portion of the meeting started out with a show and tell of Christmas Tree Skirts that members brought to share.

Upcoming Workshops

January 23, 2010

Landscape Quilts
with Judith

The sign-up sheet for this workshop will be available at the November Guild meeting. Payment for the workshop is due at the time you sign up.

Update: Judith's landscape workshop is now full. 15 people have registered for this workshop. If you are still interested in taking this workshop, please let the Workshop Committee know as there may be a second offering of this workshop later in the year.

May 8, 2010
Seminole Piecing
with Carol Piercy

Seminole piecing comes to us from the natives of the Florida Everglades. They made their designs very small and used them to decorate clothing. We use the same designs, but scaled up to quilt size.

Further details regarding this workshop will be available closer to the workshop date.

Program - Sandra's Log Cabins

The Program for our November meeting was led by Sandra.

Sandra has had a love affair with log cabin quilts for years. Those in attendance were treated to a wonderful trunk show of breathtaking log cabin quilts made by Sandra.
